I am indeed, as it happens, bitter. Bitter to watch the new
political class rise to power in a miasma of anti-capitalist
rhetoric amidst staggering inflation. Everything in Nigeria seem to be doubling in prices. Naira has fallen in value, it's falling and will never cease falling. Bet me, the naira will be worthless than a bucket full of warm spit in 2020.

I am bitter to watch the renewed belief that the correct "super
men" will fix the problem by adjusting the levers of the
economy to suit them (as if this hadn't caused the crisis in
the first place) and the cult of personality that accompanies
such fantastic and feverish belief. (Already members of the
Cabinet are forgiven their felonious transgressions because
there is "important work to be done"). In a sense, your prose
here is a perfect example of this twisted mindset. You
attack a school of which you demonstrably have little or no
understanding, and rely on cliche and stereotype to brand
those with views divergent from your own.
.
In short, you have no meaningful intellectual insight whatsoever to offer.
That you are typical of what lurks out there in the dark,
vengeful and misguided malice of public opinion does leave
me bitter. Bitter, and revolted.

Re: Why Buhari Will Be A Failure by Goodlife2020: 6:04am On Aug 29, 2015
You people misunderstand me. I love Buhari as a person. His policies are pragmatic, he seems to be a revolutionary president,he is strong, persistent, daring, he is a good man, I...... VOTED FOR HIM!!, but don't forget that that he is a candidate of a coalition party, APC. Most people tend to forget this. In a coalition party, there are cornucopia of interests. Forget the corruption buzzing rhetoric that Buhari mouthes off. If he doesn't calm the heads of his internal multi-party bigwigs, doom is the only way.

. I usually tell this to people during my conference talks: Forget what is said in the media, look at what is done on ground, look at policies, look at happenings. Inflation is at its peak since he took over. Nigerian stock market lost trillions of naira since he took over. The same pork-barrel sharing policy, which were a brand of the Pacific, are still taking place.
.
.... .... A proposal for change brings other extrinsic changes. Nigerian businesses have been tied up to a particular corrupt - laden capitalistic factor. If Buhari proposes change, then he creates fear in their minds. Fear causes a plethora of irrational action and you know what next........

I stopped at the 'new political class'... Evidence of barren ideas to follow. People complain about recycled politicians but only you prophet can see the new political class? Kontinu

Yes, it's really a new political class. Remember I said political class, not politicians. There is a big difference.
.
. New political class of politicians are those pseudo-rebranded types that propose "CHANGE".
.
.
It makes me laugh, because there are always two types of change: Positive and negative.

.. Buhari was not wrong!!

Ahem, another information shows that Buhari is incapable of leading this country to a corrupt-free nation, the way he promised.
.
He said he is worth N12m.
.
.
But his wife bought a N10m luxury watch.
