Gionee Marathon M2 Mini is an Android smartphone that is targeted at budget-conscious buyers. It came into the Nigerian markets some weeks ago and few of mobile users are aware of this. It features a 4-inch TFT capacitive display, a quad-core processor, a decent 1GB RAM with Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and a massive 3000mAh battery that offers up to 24 hours talk time which cannot be compared with InnJoo Fire or Tecno Y4.

Gionee M2 Mini sports a rather small 4-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display that gives support for multi-touch with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. While a pixel density of 196 ppi is a bit manageable, the touchscreen in focus here is best suited for those constrained by financial resources to acquire a better-spec’ed alternative.

The cameras are also not that out of the world either, but decent. On the rear of the device is a 5-megapixel sensor with LED flash, Features – Geo-tagging, scene detection, face recognition, panorama, best shot, smile shot, HDR options and capable of capturing image of about 3264 x 2448 pixels. It can be used to record HD (720p) videos. You also get a 0.3-megapixel selfie camera for your money.
