Entry Level Salaries of Nigerian Companies and Agencies as at 18 MAR 2015 If you’re looking to get an idea of how much some popular Nigerian companies pay their entry-level staff (i.e. newly employed fresh graduates), then you’re just on the right page. Read on to see the exact figures that these companies pay. Bear in mind, however, that the information on this page is subject to sudden change, so some figures may no longer be correct. In addition, even though we’ve tried our best to ensure that the figures and estimates are correct, we admit that the information here can’t be 100% accurate. Banking Union Bank N180,000/N258,000 Guaranty Trust Bank N209,000 Diamond Bank N240,000 (N80,000 for trainees) United Bank for Africa N142,000 First Bank N150,000 + allowances worth around N150,000+ Access Bank N237,000 Enterprise Bank N249,000 Keystone Bank N127,000 excluding allowances Fidelity Bank Plc N180,000 Skye Bank N104,000 FBN Capital N400,000+ Oil and gas Shell (SPDC) N667,000 (permanent), N250,000 to N500,000 (contract Exxon Mobil N1million Total Oil N1million Mobil Oil Nigeria N500,000 Mobil Producing Nigeria N700,000 – N800,000 Schlumberger N500,000 Chevron N750,000+ Halliburton N375,000 IOCs E&P (upstream) N600,000 to N1million Independents E&P (upstream) N300,000 – N600,000 Multinational oil servicing N300,000 – N600,000 Tier 2/ Indigenous oil servicing N200,000 – N400,000 Tier 1 downstream N200,000 – N400,000 Tier 2 downstream N150,000 – N200,000 NNPC N190,000 DPR N190,000 PPPRA N190,000 NestOil Plc N150,000?? Some figures represent net total with tax deductions, while some represent salary without tax deductions. All values are for monthly pay (not annual). Oil exploration companies pay at least N500,000 for entry level employees, while servicing companies pay at least N200,000. Multinational oil companies pay according to global standards because their employees can be deployed to anywhere in the world. This explains why they pay the highest salaries. Most bank employees don’t get to earn the figures listed because the figures are for professional staff, whereas 75% of bank staffs are contract staff who don’t earn up to one-third of the figures listed. So, don’t be surprised to know that most “bankers” don’t earn as much as the listed figures. Aviation companies pay between N600,000 and N800,000. Actual salaries may vary slightly depending on qualification and unit. Most companies offering seemingly low salaries bolster their pay with juicy allowances. https://www.google.com/amp/nigerianfinder.com/entry-level-salaries-of-nigerian-companies-and-agencies/amp/?client=ms-opera-mobile&espv=1 10 Likes |

I can see Outrageous figures up there. Well, salaries depends on a lot of factors. Such as cadre, qualification and deductions etc The truth is most parastatals are going through rough patches since buhari took over, where no more jamboree anymore, especially for revenue generating agencies. This is because they normally remove their operating costs then remit the rest to government accounts (which is no more), the TSA, the tax on paye has been revitalised, no more surplus in budget proposals in these parastatals budgets where even some I personally know have been struggling to pay allowances and meet running cost obligations. So, the truth is.... it's no more uhuru as it was before. Just try n get a job n be contented. If you have an opportunity to get a better one, you move on. The likes of CBN, Nimasa, FIRS, NCAA, NASRDA, DPR, don't pay up to N200,000 for fresh graduates NOW. And that's the fact, don't let people n dreams fool you. The range is btw 150k - 190K. Infact, the likes of NIMASA and CBN are not having it easy esp wt the investigations upon investigations from EFCC, Finance Ministry, DSS etc owing to the level of damage that was done there under GEJ and Akpobolokemi and the Dasuki episode. May God give us good jobs, amen. 8 Likes 1 Share |
