Retail giant Shoprite has continued its Community Network in local communities in conjunction with Save Our Needy International NGO as it donates learning materials to the Progressive Nursery and Primary School in Festac Town, Lagos. "Our desire to promote early childhood development, encourage education amongst disadvantaged children attending low-income (public) schools and create a conducive environment for learning has led us to launching the Better Life Through Education project." - Marvella Odili, CEO Save Our Needy. Progressive Nursery and Primary School, Festac Town was the first beneficiary of this project. Whiteboards, dusters, markers, chairs and tables were donated to both nursery and primary classes of the school. Some of the classrooms were also rehabilitated during the course of the project. "We sincerely wish to thank the Shoprite Community Network for ably and generously supporting us during this project. We also wish to thank Verdant Zeal, the Lagos State Education Board as well as our media partners, Stella Dimoko Korkus blog, Vanguard newspapers, Punch and ThisDay. May God continue to bless and increase you in every way." http://www.stelladimokokorkus.com/2015/08/save-our-needy-in-partnership-with.html
