The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lai Mohammed has said that President Muhammadu Buhari did not promise to achieve anything within his first 100 days in office. He said further that the numerous promises supposedly made by Buhari emerged from different groups during the campaign and as such the APC couldn’t be held accountable for them.

The APC spokesperson made the comments on Monday, August 31, 2015, while speaking on Channels TV.

“Buhari never promised to do anything in 100 days, that's the honest truth. You see, when you are running a campaign, all kinds of literature will emerge from all sorts of groups but I came here and I said there are only just two documents that you can judge a party with.”

“That is the constitution of the party and the manifesto of the party. Those are the only two documents that are registered with INEC you can go to court on or hold a party accountable for.”
Buhari’s administration has been severely criticized by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for what the opposition described as ineptitude and poor coordination despite being in office for 100 days.

I really don't care about other promises, because 100days may be short to achieve any reasonably thing now, but, what about declaring Assets. Is buhari's Asset too much all over the world that it will take him so long to declare. Even billionaires in the like of Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Dangote can declare their assets in a twinkle of an eye. How then can Buhari who was touted to be poor not be able to declare his chicken change for the whole world to see.

100 days gone... nothing to write about... not even one corrupt person jailed considering all the corruption noise.

Campaigns are over now the reality of the work ahead is gradually setting in and the goal post is continually being shifted.

Anytime some one uses the bold phrase (you see)during an argument or discussion, just know that he or she wants to twist facts to suit his favor.
Besides this his statement shows that the leadership of the party does not have a firm grasp on their PR department. and that is a big dent in their credibility and leadership ability.

President Buhari needs to distance himself from the party leadership if they keep coming out with disgraceful statement like this. All they have been doing of late is drag the man down instead of assist him achieve a good track record to leverage on in 2019.
