About 5yrs ago, i was shopping around Lagos island, went to Mandillas, & towards Idumota, when a guy in a stationed vehicle blasting music, loaded with household electronics held my arm, & said 'come play lottery ...see, Lagos state govt know abt am' In d course of our conversatn, he brought out a scratch card, & revealed a number, saying 'u don win iron...oya come drop sometin claim am' .....on d driver's side another guy was watching, and a man looking 'responsible' walked up to him, dropped some money and collected some items...& he said to me..'u no see that man as he collect him own'

That really caught me. Na so i shook hand for my 'inn-pocket' where i hide 5k, come giv am N500 as if i was hypnotised, even though i had abt 1k in my pocket for trans...
In my presence, he cancelled the figure there and said 'u no win again' Then i became conscious & lookd around...mehn, see guyz watching. As i know say i don fall mugu, i jst walked away to a nearby shop, & reported to a lady. She askd how much ws taken, & said i ws lucky that they even beat up people.
Starring frm there, i saw them rejoicing, with d 'responsibl man'. It was so embarrassing because a bus was even loading passengers there. So i jst wakka go house b4 dem carry abt 17k wey still dey my bag as nobody even know where i go. Infact, i neva tell anybody till now.
I was surprised to hear today tht thoz guyz are still operating there on a radio program....

When i ws abt movin into ikorodu, went to get a truck & was told tht such vehicles dnt ply ikorodu rd @ certain time intervals,& it ws late so we left and met anotha man in anotha place who said 'make we dey go now...bt u go deposit 10k first'
Both tyres @ d front were partially deflated, & he did not even say anytin abt vehicular restrictns on ikorodu rd, even though we jst wanted to book for d following day so as to beat d restrictions.
And, suddenly a 'responsible' man with eye glasses showed up @ his colleagues' vehicle, paid some money, & they drove off. And he said 'see him don pay& go, u stil dey here'
