A doctor was once hired to convince a group of
alcoholics to quit drinking and he gathered the
people in question as he carried out a
demonstration. He took a shallow plate, filled it
with water and subsequently dropped an
earthworm in it. The earthworm calmly danced in
it and swam out alive. He then replaced the water
with alcohol and dropped the same worm in it.
The worm started dancing vigorously and soon
shrunk and died. The doctor then turned and
asked the audience, "what have you learnt from
this demonstration?" And for a while the house
was quiet then a man got up to break the silence,
he said,",I have learnt that if I take alcohol, it will
kill the worms in my stomach" to the shock and
dismay of the doctor. So is life, you could choose
to see the negatives in a negative situation or
choose to see the positives in it.
