There is this deliberate attempt by a section of the Northern elders to justify the "Northocratic" appointments by Muhammadu Buhari. It is on record that 74% of appointments made by Buhari are Northerners. To justify the ethnocratic act of the President, some persons selectively and maliciously singled out a few positions held by Southerners under Jonathan to justify Buhari's Northocratism. Nigeria FG has so many Departments and Agencies that one can't be listing all of them at a go. However, I took my time and painstakingly singled out some Ministries and Agencies and listed the heads of these agencies plus their geopolitical zone.

In addition to the above, Jonathan's appointed Chairman of INEC Atahiru Jega is from Kebbi state (North). The Attorney General under Jonathan Muhammed Adoke is a Northerner. A cursory look at Jonathan's appointment will convince any doubter that the North were one of the major beneficiaries. It is unfair for a section of the North to propagate falsehood in their bid to justify the Northocratic appointments of President Buhari.

I will be glad to entertain anyone that can name ANY sector that GEJ marginalised the North.

Please call Buhari to order and behave like elders.

The administration of GEJ was a collective government, which not only kept to the principle of federal character in the selection of government officials out of respect of the constitution, but also believed in sourcing intelligent and skilled hands from the 6 Geopolitical zones because of the PDP's belief in the capability of the Union called Nigeria. The past administration being an idealist one trusted in the survival of the union, and so put the country's development above personal interest and so decided to trust in Nigeria, thereby foregoing any ethnic or religious interests. And even, with the dismerits that came out of it, the PDP, if given the chance once more, will still tow the same path. This is so, because Nigeria comprises of the North, South, East and West and not what one region can achieve alone, no matter how monumental the gains may be.
Join us in 2019, as we, once more will undertake the joint task of REBOOTING OUR DEMOCRACY.
