MTN, Glo, Etisalat And Airtel Stop Ripping Us Off!!!!! by drss(m): 11:54am On Sep 07, 2015
The internet is not just a place to browse facebook, nairaland, twitter or google. Its also a place where users can watch and download exciting videos on Youtube.
An average American watches about 50GB worth of videos on Youtube, 100GB on downloads. In fact, browsing the net is litmitless for certain penny per month, so browsing high bandwith consuming sites like instegram, tumblr and others is not a problem. This is made possible becos the American internet service providers provide good value for money to their customers.
Sadly for us in Nigeria, its another story. The networks are not only ripping us off but they seem to be enjoying d cheating. How can one explain why MTN will decieve unsuspecting customers into subscribing into ripoff plans to watch videos on youtube only to be giving mere 10mb in the name of 100mb? Or how can we explain the glo nano data plans for customers will end up with 8mb for watching videos? How many videos can a person watch with 8 or 10mb for God sake? Enough of these cheatings by these networks. For a country like Nigeria, each person should be entitled to at least 15-20gb per month for N2000. This will be manageble enough for Nigerians to browse and watch videos on youtube.
We all must rise up and demand for our rights from these networks. They are cheating us. Say no to ripoff.
