1. The Ekiti State Education Summit will hold on Tuesday September 8th 2015 at Abiodun Adetiloye Hall along Iyin Road in Ado Ekiti by 10am prompt under the Chairmanship of His Royal Majesty, Oba Justice Ademola Ajakaye, the Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti.
2. The Theme of the Summit isRESTORING THE LOST GLORY.
3. In a release from the Office of the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Jide Egunjobi , the Special Guest at the Occasion is the Executive Governor of Ekiti State Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose while the Education Commissioner will be the Chief host.
4. The release stated that a key note address will be delivered by the Provost, Ekiti State College of Education, Ikere Ekiti while School Based Management Committee ( SBMC ) , All Nigerian Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools ( ANCOPSS ), Association of Primary School Headteachers hers of Nigeria ( AOPSHON ) , Nigeria Union of Teachers ( NUT ) and representative of the State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology will present papers at the occasion .
5. It was stated further that good will messages will be presented by Vice Chancellors, Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti ( EKSU ) , Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife ( OAU ) Osun State, Federal University of Technology, Akure ( FUTA ) Ondo State, Rector Federal Polytechnic , Ado Ekiti and the Bishop of Ekiti Catholic Diocese, Rev Father Ajakaye who will also give a key note address.
6. Ekiti State Cultural Troupe will entertain the guest at the occasion while Christ Girls School, Ado Ekiti will present a short playlet
