well it depends on the application u are installing though. i mostly download apps from ovi without any challenges.

Your Upgrade was it OTA abi?What difference did u notice on the Upgraded version?Ovi don't hv much application.It is too dry for my liking

upgraded over ovi suite. general boost in performance. i really did'nt use the former version for long.

check ur mail.

Glo and mtn will give u 150mb /24hrs. That shld be sufficient for ur update if it's 148mb.

with this our type of network that fluctuate? you may even be mid-way through and then get network error. anything less than 200mb is not advisable.

You can update your fone with Nokia Software Updater. I used it to update my brother's 6220 classic (172.8Mb) two days ago with Freedom. You can even stop the update and continue the next day. it will start from the last Megabit and continue from there till when everything is complete.

OVER THE AIR UPDATE OTA IS NOT MUCH, WHEN I HAD MY 6220C, OVER THE AIR UPDATE WAS JUST 15MB, MY N79 ,I DID OTA AND its JUST 22MB, TO FIND OUT HOW MANY MB UR OTA IS, JUST TYPE *#0000# press option and check for update and it connects to the internet or go to ur DEVICE MANAGER and press option and check for update

But if OTA tells u that there is no firmware available for that phone, the go for Nokia pc suite firmaware update, dnt use OVI suite firmware update

H.acking is still the best.Why shd i be signing one after another any software i want to install?Waste of time.

if its OTA update firmware update size, as soon as u type *#0000# then option- update, if it finds an update for the phone,scrol down ,b4 updating,u will see the size

@ceejay.thanks man.i decided to take d bull by the horn.i used my Airtel 3g Sim to do the OTA upgrade.i downloaded d 11mb( software upgrade) under 5minutes.i was asked whether i want to upgrade now or later.i clicked now wit my memory card inside.i successfully upgrade to version 211.12.1 wit my stuffs intact.
