IGBOS ARE THE REAL SLAVES IN NIGERIA by Nobody: 7:58am On Sep 14, 2015 |
There is a popular saying that to keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done. We need ourselves more than ever. There is strenght in our diversity and if properly utilized we can build a stronger Nigeria. The Igbos really need to drop this idea of Biafra because it is dead on arrival. Secession is not the solution to the high poverty rate in the south east neither will it eliminate greedy politicians who have refused to let the SE thrive. The igbos need to look inward and look for ways they can develop their region within the Nigerian context. We the Yorubas are not bothered about breaking away. We worked so hard to develop Lagos and the South west so everyone can thrive and this is why the igbos and other tribes keeps flocking to the SW to tap from the potentials and opportunities Yoruba land has to offer. This is the kind of mentality the Igbos need to develop. South sudan broke away from sudan and still nothing has changed because they remain poor and depend on aids to survive. The igbos need to work together with every section of Nigeria so they can be relevant in the Nigerian system instead of calling we the Yoruba's slaves to Hausa-fulani. The igbos are the real slaves here because they are the ones in bondage and yearning for freedom. The igbos should remember the last civil war and never allow Nnamdi Kanu to lure them into another blood bath. Biafra is a dream that cant be realized. We will support the Hausa-Fulanis to resist any form of secession. We will defend the unity of One Nigeria just like we did in the late 60's. A word is enough for the wise. SAY NO TO BIAFRA GOD BLESS OUR UNITED NIGERIA. 4 Likes |

uselessgoat: What is Nigeria? An illegal amalgamation of unconsenting ethnic groups? An artificial creation of the white man? A forced marriage? A business organisation set up by Lugard to make money? A highly derogative term invented by Lords Lugards girlfriend after she heard about the river Niger? Take your pick in the above. Nigeria is an illegal entity that has no shred of legitimacy. A country is only gotten by the direct permission of the indigenous native people, not by force. It is the God given right of Igbos to decide what they are, Biafrans or Nigerians. It is not for Lugard or Yorubas or Hausas to tell us who we are. 200 years ago, all these people didn't even know each other, now they shout 'one Nigeria' because Lord Lugard came from Britain to tell them it should be that way. Nigeria is a fraud, Nigeria is a forced marriage, Nigeria in its self is an act of illegality. 2 Likes |

We yorubas are rather the true slaves in Nigeria. .. we are the willing tools as the Hausa / Fulani called us... I rather liken the igbos as brave people who have stand their feet in spite the great opposition again them. Or on worst account you can liken them as an opposition against Nigeria. .. Yorubas are the willing tools. .the real slaves. .. our hausa fulanis overlord calls us, slaves (willing tools) |

White007: Yorubas got most of what they want already and is called self-driven progress. What is left is regionalism. Through dialogue and negotiations and alliance we are making headway. We didn't accomplish and become the most progressive in Nigeria through a war and by God's Grace regionalism will come without a bloodbath. |

"And let me tell you that in the event of the breakup of this country, Ilorin and Offa will remain 100 % Northern Nigeria and not one inch of land will be ceded to yorubas".- Junaid Mohammed. http://nigeriavillagesquare.com/forum/main-square/69271-north-ready-nigeria-s-breakup-if-junaid-muhammed.html The same Fulani herdsmen have been hunting Yorubas for sport for decades, and they don't even consider Yoruba Muslims as equals but inferior beings! And fellow beings like you dare not counter, vent your anger or even put up such scrap as you posted above about them! Indeed Yorubas have always maintained a deafening silence. It's so pathetic that Yorubas would instead look for the Igbos to accuse! Outlined below are the indisputable cases of Yoruba Slavery. 1* Afonja betrayed his Yaribanza people and sold them as perpetual slaves to the Fulani; Ilorin still remains an Islamic caliphate till date. 2* Justice Sowemimo, a Yoruba judge was used by the Hausa-Fulani slave masters to send Chief Awolowo to jail. 3* Chief Awolowo was an unyielding advocate of true federalism but suddenly changed as soon as he was appointed the Minister of local Government and Finance and succeeded in enslaving the Yoruba race . 4* General Oladipo Diya, a Yoruba man was used by his Hausa-Fulani slave masters to batter NADECO, Afenifere, Odua Movement and other Yoruba struggle groups. 5* Yoruba Obas collected bribe from their Hausa-Fulani slave masters instead of fighting for the unjust murder of their "beloved son" MKO Abiola as confessed by Oba Akiolu. 6* The same MKO Abiola financed the coup that sacked his brother Ernest Shonekan and brought in his slave master General Abacha - an Hausa-Fulani to power. 7* MKO Abiola and other Yoruba elders even went to Dodan Barracks to submit themselves as perpetual slaves to General Sani Abacha for overthrowing their brother. It's so pathetic! 8* A small boy Yakubu Gowon used Pa Awolowo as slave to cling on to power against Southern interest. 9* Slavish cum coward coup plotters - Oladipo Diya, Abdulkarim Adisa Oladipo Diya - the greatest general in the history of Yoruba peole, knelt, wept and begged Abacha for his miserable life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8VM9hZMYZ0 Yorubas are not only treacherous but always at the servitude of the Northerners which is very worrisome. dejavski: tunjion: WombRaiders: WombRaiders: WombRaiders: WombRaiders: |
