how can u just fly in 100 from no where and dump in the equation when no value is given to any of the Zeros! undecided

it must be a Nigeria engineer that did dis trashy calculation - that is why majority of houses and bridges they construct collapses before completion and, roads riddled with potholes 3 months after construction.

you all up there asking for where ''100" came in are but dull and abysmally poor at elementary mathematics. "0" is the same as ''100-100''. It doesn't matter whether "100" was previously defined or not. All we need is zero. It could be "5-5", "30-30" or anything. It's just one of the Axiomatic approaches to mathematics.
