As a professional you may be tempted to impress your clients and team members with terminologies and concepts within your profession that may be difficult for them to understand. When leading a team in a project or within your organization, it is best to KISS your objective at all times. K.I.S.S. is an acronym for Keep It Super Simple. Professionalism has driven many people into creating technical and sophisticated solutions for various kinds of problems and projects but this can be a disadvantage when communicating project objectives or visions with others especially, non-technical people. The KISS principle states that a solution or a business objective is better when it is described with less technicality and jargons. A solution that follows the KISS principle might look boring or even ridiculous but simple and understandable. The KISS principle states that there is no value in a solution being “clever” but in one being easily understandable. A simple solution is better than a complex one

True... ...I call it simple-stupid. The most successful of solutions are the simplest. They're so ridiculously simple... 1 Like |
