Before he became famous, Ed Sheeran revealed he was homeless for two-and-a-half years where he slept rough on London Underground Tubes and outside Buckingham Palace.

And now, having amassed an estimated net worth of £40million, the 24-year-old is set to be living among some of London’s rich and famous.

According to The Sun newspaper, the British crooner has splashed out on a £9million mansion in North London, a place heavily sought after by the likes of Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West.

Ed had to pay big money for the house but it’ll be worth it,’ a source told the publication. ‘He will be neighbours with some real high movers in business, sport and celebrity, which just shows how far he’s come.’

The insider added: ‘The house will be the ultimate party pad but also a place of work.’
