Book: "Checklist Manifesto" by Atul Gewande

This is arguably the best non-fiction book I have read this year. In it the author drew from the lessons learnt in aviation -where checklists are used for flight operations -and applied them in medical surgical operations, and other areas of business. This is a must read for anyone who is interested in efficiency. Good read.

Power, Politics and Death by Segun Adeniyi.

This is a book chronicling Preseident Yar'Adua's reign in Abuja. Written by Mr Adeniyi who was the president's spokesman, it tells of happenings behind the scenes when the president took I'll and eventually died.
From the book you'll learn:
1. The good plans Yar'Adua had for Nigeria.
2. That there was no 'cabal' ruling Nigeria while Yar'Adua was indisposed.
3. That though a good man, the then president had some shortcomings.
4. The workings of the Nigerian presidency.

I should add that not everything in the book may be true, but I believe it portrayed to a large degree what actually transpired during the Yar'Adua years.

Thank you so much for your fabulous review, glad you liked it.

I have shared it on facebook, twitter, google plus and reddit

Please remove the bit about my real name. That defeats the whole purpose of a pen name cheesy

Would you mind sharing your review on Amazon?

Thanks again

This is nice.

Books to me are foundations to predictable successes in any endeavor.

However, I prefer hard copy books to stay away from displays, and relax my brain cells. This is the reason I use https://bestpicks.ng to order my hard copy books online in Nigeria
