Word! The fund I'm considering spending on a potential 2010 S65 AMG I got in one fell swoop from a deal I secured via pulling up in my 2007 S65 AMG on a Monday the first day of a certain business meeting.

I came on Friday the same week to the meeting with a 2006 760Li. What I didn't know was that the person chairing the meeting, in whose hands everything lay (apart from God at least) had observed me and my taste for high end Merc and BMW.

To cut a long story short, we got talking about cars subsequently. Not once was the contract everyone was vying for mentioned in our discussion. I and my partners got the contract based on pure expertise and according to the chairman who let me in on this later " I believe your taste and knowledge of your vehicles will be translated to the job". These were his exact words I shiit you not!

The above is just one instance. There were state of the art cars driven by co contractors to that meeting but fortunately for me, nobody drove in a 2014/15 S class or 760 Li to the meeting as I'm sure the effect of mine would've been eclipsed considering that these two cars are deadly hot!

yea I agree with you 100%,the kind of ride one takes around really tells much about his/her personality just like dressing too...for me as an Engr,during bidding wars those are what guarantees my standing and pricing too..imagine me showing up on my ride,clean and luxurious ,the client would be forced to agree on any pricing I lay out,no matter how outrageous it may sound....not to mention the fact that they feel more secure dealing with an already made contractor... lol
