Former Minister of Finance/the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has taken on 2 new roles. She is now a Senior Advisor for Lazard as part of the financial advisory firm’s sovereign advisory group and the chair-elect of the board for GAVI. Lazard, one of the world’s preeminent financial advisory and asset management firms, operates from 43 cities across 27 countries in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Central and South America. Their sovereign advisory group is the “preeminent financial advisor to governments and other sovereign entities around the world.” She has also been appointed chair-elect of the board of GAVI the Vaccine Alliance.
