Ebonyi State government has contracted fourteen firms to oversee the evacuation of waste materials/rubbish in the state. The state Commissioner for Environment, Moses O. Nomeh, who disclosed this while briefing newsmen in Abakaliki, said the specifications of the contract involves sweeping of roads within the city, clearing of grasses and evacuation of refuse dumps within the state capital city, and its environs.
