On Tuesday, September 22, unknown gunmen attacked Allawa village in Shiroro local government area of Niger state.

As a result of the midnight raid, the district head of the village along with his brother, a police Inspector and 33 villagers were brutally killed.

The Nation reports that the gunmen are suspected to be Fulani herdsmen. They invaded the village with dangerous weapons including sophisticated machine guns and started shooting at local people.

Several villagers sustained serious injuries while trying to escape the invaders, while 25 houses were razed by the invaders. The attack, which lasted two hours, left people helpless as no security agency came to help them.

Meanwhile, Bala Elikana, the state’s police public relations officer, confirmed the incident and expressed shock at the death of innocent people. He added that the command was not able to get the exact number of victims of the cruel attack.

There have not been any friction between members of Allawa village and Fulani herdsmen in the locality, therefore, the reason for the attack is still unknown. Earlier this month, Fulani herdsmen renewed their attacks in Plateau state.

On Monday, September 14, they invaded Fan village in Foron district of Barkin Ladi local government area of the state and killed 20 people, several others were injured.

This news sounds distant to most Nigerians because they live in the city. Fulani's herdsmen impunity is not unconnected to the emergence of PMB as president. The promises of Sardauna is been fulfilled before our very eyes. Some people will start defending PMB by pointing to GEJ, let us not watch as our rights to live is gradually been trampled on in the name of supporting Buhari's so called corruption fight, somethings sinister is going on and this isn't about GEJ and PDP. PMB must bring his brothers under control. His body language is empowering and making them bolder. Your life or a relative might be next.
