Both Ruling And Opposition Party;let Us All Tell President Buhari The Truth by Episteme2(m): 11:57am On Sep 24, 2015
The level of brainswash and sheepish followership of APC led federal government by their supporters is worrying and unheard-off in the anals of Nigerian governance. The masses prefer political power tussel and thrilling entertainment of target-driven corruption fight, lies, propaganda and image laundering to the real business of governance. While I don't in any way underestimate the potency of Buhari's body language and the campaign against corruption, there are also other pressing needs like economic policies initiation and implementation, job creation, poverty reduction, security and others.
It is our collective responsibility to tell Buhari the truth even though his body language depicts autocracy. Truth be told, Nigeria would have been better off if ministers had been appointed since. Fighting corruption shouldn't in any way stop the activities of other sectors. Fighting corruption with due acknowledgement is fantastic but it shouldn't be the only thing. Nigerians have been so far distracted with fighting corruption and probing mantra even though we all know it is arguably vindictive and witch hunting which does not in any way improve the life of the masses.
Let us tell President that his dictatorial proclivities can never be a leading light in a New Nigeria. This is democracy and he should not be impermeable to the democratic yearnings of the people. It is worrying to read notes from people who say they don't care what and how Buhari does to get us to the promise land. But I dare say that any undemocratic means to getting to our promise land is a short cut and a dangerous precedent to our democracy. Our blind support for Buhari to do whatever he likes as long as it moves us forward is very dangerous. Any unconstitional action we praise today will come back to haunt us tomorrow. This is just like sending your son to school and asking him to do whatever he so likes as long as he comes back home with good grades. Using federal might, executive and official terrorism/intimidation and taking unilateral decisions without recourse to the constitution is not the best option. I wonder who tells him that the senate president must be his puppet before he can perform. How can he forget that the elected leaders are responsible to the electorates. No body or group in the NASS has power to sit on or refuse any bills or budgets from the presidency that are people oriented. If they do, they will incure the wrat of the masses. It is only those self-serving politicians that have started scheming for 2019 and powermongers that will instigate unnecessary witch hunts and power tussle to remain relevant in the polity. Then the gullible masses who are at the receiving end will find the distraction entertaining. So unfortunate! Instead of being more interested in why loyal but corrupt party members are currently being shielded, they are busy pursuing vindictive agenda of people whose puppets were democratically refused leadership positions in the NASS. Let's campaign against godfatherism in Nigerian Politics and installation of puppets in government.
It is not in the best interest of the masses for this government to have too many irons in the fire. Witch hunting and intimidating perceived political opponents and shouting corruption every time has not done us any good. There are other pressing businesses of governance. APC's political miscalculations and mismanaged victory resulted in Saraki's senate presidency. They Diplomatically live with the mistake while still putting solid structures on ground to avoid future occurrence rather than seeking ways to remove him. No senator in his right senses will support what is happening to Saraki today because they should know that if Saraki does not survive his ordeals and travails, then they are all in a big mess of being manipulated by external forces that removed him(Saraki) and that means they must at all times act according to the dictates of external forces willy nilly. This surely is not good for our strongly emerging democracy and performance-focused, ambitious politicians who may not have the backing of the dictating cabals in advancing their political careers. If these cabals had allowed sleeping dog lie, by now the ripples and polarization in the NASS would have settled. The earlier the tension in NASS is calmed, the smooter the executive governace goes and removing Saraki will further linger it with another scheming and contest for Senate president. As long as there is no significantly dorminant party in the NASS and with divided loyalty of the senators of the majority party, it will be difficult for puppets to be installed.
Simply let the NASS be.

Our newly-forged critics are on overkill. They came through the historical electoral feat of March 28. They are over-charged; ready to pounce and kill.

They are dripping with Viagra and venom, and they have an unmistakable target: President Muhammadu Buhari. They don't want to spare anything. They are not giving any chances, not letting any space.

They wait on President Buhari like lascivious and hungry dogs, ready to attack his person, his policies, his actions and his pro increments. . Oh yes, he must be cut to pieces for daring to topple the sordid order from where they freely fed.

Your write up would have been good if you did not mention Saraki. Saraki is an APC member and a Fulani/Yoruba man. He is one of the people you would have accused Buhari of shielding.

The fact is that the newfound critics of Buhari remain the same minority freeloaders and their minions that so abused and denigrated power just the other day; so much so that Nigeria defied all their unorthodox tactics to vote them out of power on March 28.

They remain the same practitioners of the same damned ancient regimen of plundering, impunity, mediocrity, profligacy who audaciously prosecuted Nigeria's free fall through mendacious brigandage that they were thrown out of power few months ago.

They are the same blood-thirsty apostles of prebendal governance that is rooted in mass deprivation.

Let us read through the mischief, those that have refused to be consoled by the humbling hiding Buhari dealt them last March are torturing themselves to oppose every move Buhari has made to retrieve a nation they cast to the swines in unprecedented leadership anomie.

They mask as self-opinionated vendors of public opinion, agbataekee columnists working covertly and overtly for the dethroned power hustlers that rue the prospects of life outside power.

Some are cash and carry self-anointed activists who discovered their wrong choice of business as Jonathan's corruptive nectars crossed their ways while are some dubious ethnic pressure groups, scam religious groups and men who were purchased slaves of the corrupt regime that was overthrown by Buhari's emergence.

Our new critics think that by their clearly disoriented outcries, we may be swayed to club Buhari to death. By blandly denying the huge landmarks Buhari has wrought in three months to clear the asphyxiating debris they heaped on the country for neon years, these fellows think we will follow them and navigate through their valley of self duplicity.

Did u say huge landmarks? Could you please outline them? Our economy is bleeding profusely, investors are scared of the state of economy, people are losing their jobs on daily basis and real governance abandoned for executive/official terrorism. Apart from the so called body language there is little or nothing to ascribe to this disorientated and convoluted accidental government.

If your syndicated cries of woes mean anything, why was it that NOI Polls owned by Jonathan's Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, put President Buhari's favourable rating at over 70 per cent despite the self-fooling antics of your criticism?

You looking more like a lost and confused child..
The change Buhari promised for which Nigerians voted for him, which he is presently bringing to the abused Nigerian polity is not and has never programmed for woe criers. In fact, they are programmed as casualties that must give way for the masses to prosper.

Name calling! Typical of political jobbers, hangers-on and the rather Aggressives who cannot anchor their summissions on facts.
Malapropic grammatical exercise you're engaged in is no substitute for facts and realities on ground.

'Sickening' write up. No Nigerian in his right senses will have any sentiments for a confirmed rogue and treasury looter like Saraki. Even if other senators are corrupt, why should a number three person in Nigeria be corrupt? How can we have a reformed senate when a thief is leading them? This is what makes people like James Ibori ever regret leaving Nigeria.

What should worry every well meaning Nigeria is for Buhari to deliver his promises to Nigerians, ensure a free and fair election and allow te will of Nigerians to prevail. We're blaming APC for giving alleged "thieves" their gubernatorial tickets, what blame do we have for PDP for returning "thieves" to office? If you don't like the APC candidate, then show it by rejecting them at the polls so that democracy will grow. What we should hold Buhari accountable for is free and fair election because that's his direct responsibility, not what his party does.

On the issue of Saraki and the other thieves, let any person who has stolen face their judgement in court, including Saraki. Our duty as the masses is to compel the president to bring others to book as well, not protect Saraki and the likes which we know will impede the job of anti-corruption agencies

You have said nothing about the NOI fact i just gave you, but you have brought out a typical reply of the likes of you.

when you read or hear the raucous and repetitive jibe of Buhari did this and did not do that, know you are hearing the tortured cries of the dislodged free loaders that have adamantly refused to be consoled after Nigerians voted for change they are experiencing today.

When you hear the headless complaints by men that diligently prosecuted the deprecation of Nigeria in sixteen years, together with their coterie of minions that Buhari has not transformed Nigeria into the eight wonder of the modern world in three months.

Exactly!! When you have a room filled with thieves there is no proper way to expose them, no matter who or where you start from, your goal remains getting rid of the thieves. But these wailers can't see beyond their own nose.
