There is hardly anything in Nigeria today that is not being politicised, even something that is not remotely related to politics. What is of course of concern in this regard is government’s attitude to some issues that ought to have been handled immediately with tact and assurances but which often than not, government just keeps quiet as if things were going on normally.

The federal government’s loud silence over the matter of the kidnap of Chief Oluyemisi Falae more than 72 hours after is not only disturbing but suspicious. And this is a lot of people are already reading meanings into the whole..........
