specrealq: I don't think anyone has a concrete idea if a sub 470 score will get you an ITA this year. I suspect it will happen though, maybe around September. Please note that I'm only speculating. Truth be told, 467 is a very good score and patience is all I can recommend. |

cynthiaezebaby: I'm assuming the transcript given to you is in a sealed envelope, preferably with the school's seal/stamp on the envelope. If not, you'd have to get the school to send a sealed one to you or WES CANADA which handles credential evaluation. A photocopy of your certificate with the transcript needs to be couriered to WES with a reference number inscribed on the envelope. You know what just google WES canada, it's pretty straightforward. I believe it cost around 322 CAD though if you want the assessed report couriered back to you, which I highly recommend. 1 Like |

Amazing01: Tnx alot for ur input... do u have any idea what role would be eligible? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by deucruise: 3:56pm On Jun 04, 2016 |
Amazing01: Definitely not a guru but yeah, your degree and occupation doesn't have to tally. What matters is if your NOC falls under 0,A and B, I believe. Job title doesn't have that much of an impact either. Finding a NOC with corresponding job descriptions(say around 70%) that match what you do is all that counts. |

muyiwaojo1: Not sure if CRS score has anything to do with PNP qualification. I believe each province have their own requirements, you should research them. There's no limit to the number of province you can apply to while in the pool, as you can only accept nomination from one anyway if multiple provinces nominate you. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that a particular province frowns on applicants who do multiple applications (Please, I can't confirm the veracity of that sentence and don't remember the context in which I read it. It could have been someone asking if it would impact on their application). I believe Manitoba has that requirement, the person must be a PR or Citizen though and resident in Manitoba. If your Cousin is resident in Manitoba, I believe that's possible . I must apologise if it comes across as if I have posed more questions than answers. Hopefully, they'll aid your process. Just do more research and you should have better clarity. 1 Like |

iphie25: No Idea on the GCKEY thing. I've been following your process. I cheered and admired your tenacity with the IQAS-WES episode. In my opinion, you should let the ITA go. Will you get another ITA?, YES!. Soon?, I don't know. My main concern, like someone highlighted earlier has to do with misrepresentation. In my opinion, dates are quite important in the process and the disparity between the initial claim made, ITA and your new ECA can be easily spotted and might not be easily explained away by an LOE. Does the benefit of a potential PR outweigh the risk of misrepresentation?, In your case, I'd say NO!. First tenacity, now you must show patience...lol, I sound like a Kung Fu Master. My advice comes with a caveat though, my knowledge is limited to research and other people's experience. Best of luck 1 Like |

Hello my people, Please can i collect my transcript from school and send it myself to WES or must the school send it. Im asking because i dont want the school delaying the process. Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by tundechange: 8:37pm On Jun 04, 2016 |
Allow the school to send it on your behalf. If WES discovers in anyway that you sent it yourself, they might reject it. Just follow up with your school to ensure that it's well sealed and packaged. Goodluck! |

iphie25: From the information provided and the given possible reasons why you were locked out, it appears that you have visited your profile too frequently thus flagging it as suspicious and sending their security bots to work. As has been advised by several other gurus in the house, kindly let this pass and wait for another opportunity, you've got a good fighting chance. In your current situation you don't have much choice anyway. I have quick one to ask from you though, from the IQAS checklist of documents meant to be sent from the issuing institution, only photocopies of transcripts were requested. Did you obtain your original transcript from your institution after they have made copies to be sent to IQAS? I need a set of my transcript for ITA purpose and don't want to apply for it twice. Please how did u go about it? Cheers and God speed to your dreams. |

cynthiaezebaby: If by 'liet test' you mean ielts, then id say no. Id suggest tho, that you send your certificates to WES and then sit the ielts. You'd prolly get your ielts results same time as your WES evaluation. 1 Like |

Good morning my people and happy 1st Sunday of the month: Pls, what are the expiry dates of the below documents for ITA: Medical Report Police Clearance Certificate Reference letter from previous employer Reference letter from current employer Also, can I go for upfront medicals while in the pool b4 getting ITA? Then if spouse is like 1 or 2 months pregnant, is it advisable to do xray? If shse has to wait till she delivers, will CIC go ahead to process our application having conducted other medical test aside the xray? Thank you! |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Nobody: 12:28pm On Jun 05, 2016 |
tundechange: PCC.. Nigeria's own is valid for 3months from the date of issue. Though 6months is written on it Foreign PCC: Must be issued after the last time you left the country. Medicals: One year... yes you can go for upfront.. but it's advisable if you're sure of ITA soon or just do it post ITA and Upload reference letters from previous employers: doesn't really have a validity since you no longer work there but must be issued after you must have left and signed and stamped by the HR Reference letter from current employer : it's better to have it issued same year you're applying. I do hope I've covered all bases. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hey, I've tried searching the thread for this but couldn't find. Can anyone give an idea of how much it costs till the last stage where you know you're getting in apart from IELTS & WES fee? It will be much appreciated. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by SlowlybtSurely: 1:59pm On Jun 05, 2016 |
tundechange: There is only a very very slim chance of an X ray affecting a neonate and this chance can be further reduced if the pregnant lady wears a lead shield. The choice is yours. CIC can wait for your wife to put to bed first. If I were in her shoes, I will definitely go ahead with it, but will insist on using a lead shield. 3 Likes 1 Share |

veleta: Did they categorically say the cause of death was the xray? Many women donot carry to term and that can be attributed to some known/unknown factors. Sometimes, we like to relate it to something we think may have caused it. I really doubt xray was the culprit. Did she use a lead shield? Family is fine ooo. We thank God. You and yours? |

The lady is a doctor anyway, she was even told that it could go either way but she gambled it cos the job was a govt job, this happened in her first trimester. She really regretted that decision. You know some people are risk takers, its all about choice. We are doing great,my dear. |

tundechange: Can you please leave off the X Ray till your baby is here?Am not a medical personnel just speaking from my personal observation and experience i live in Dubai and have had to do Xrays a few times one of the first questions always asked is if you are pregnant no one will do an Xray for a pregnant woman here.My clinic and hospital even have pictures of unborn babies pleading with their mums not to enter the room on the doors of Xray rooms. Secondly i noticed i was always exempted from passing through the automated[Best English word i could use]security stuffs anywhere even at the Airports both here and in the States soon as they discovered i was pregnant. My take on this is if it has no effect at all then why the precautions? My advice will be please do not risk it might be a 50 50 thing but its always best to be save than sorry.Maybe you can try writing CIC on her situation when you get ITA and see what they advice.I know Australian immigration lets the woman do it post pregnancy if they cant give a waiver. All the best. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Hello Everyone and good job for all the help and advise. I am so impressed at the insights I have received from this forum. I didn't know that Nigerians can be very open and gracious with hardcore honest information like this. The truth is that I didn't know a forum like this existed !!! This is my first time making an enquiry here. Here's what I really need the gurus in the house to please, please help me with. I have taken my IELTS exams and got my school transcript evaluated, everything seems to be ready ... but my dilemma is that the UK company which I worked in for the last 8years just closed shop in Nigeria. The job I did there was what qualified me in my NOC entry. Someone suggested that I quickly go there (that was while they where still running skeletal services)and make them write a reference letter for me with regards to my EE application, which I did and it was dated March 4 2015. The problem I face now is, like I said, the company has left the country. Nothing like it in Nigeria anymore. They gave all of us redundancy letters. My question is this, will that reference letter which I got from my now redundant company, with regards to my EE application be honored by IRCA when the time comes? Secondly, the letter was mistakenly addressed to CIC and not IRCA. I am wondering if this would affect anything? Thankyou everyone. Any input will be highly appreciated |
