Hello house, I am about creating my EE profile by declaring my dependents including spouse, but I've not chosen to get points for her Education and Language because we are yet to get her ECA done because of delays from her school. If I choose to add her as accompanying spouse CRS score drops to 413 but if I claim spouse not accompanying CRS score jumps to 437. But by adding her, we lose 24 points. What I lose by not adding her is not so clear? If I get an ITA, she won't get PR alongside me, and I have to become a sponsor and then get her a visitor visa, right? Will the children get the PR alongside myself? How many years does it take to sponsor her to join me/us? What are the other pitfalls that I'm missing by not adding a spouse in EE profile? Please assist. |

Java47: Anyways, at anytime you add a spouse, you may or may not fall within the 6months timeline. I saw a post on CV forum where some one was advising that it's better that you marry and add spouse pre ita (here she will need eca+ielts). He said so, because he added spouse post PPR and got extra 6months to reissue him new copr + PPR for his wife. Another scenario which I personally did is to add spouse after AOR but before PPR (here she won't need eca + ielts). However, there have also been cases where a few added spouse post PPR and the process got completed in few weeks...cic ways!! Last option is Post landing, that has been confirmed to take a minimum of 1year. CC: The watcher212 1 Like 1 Share |

Ujee:Request for transcript in your maiden name while you can apply for ECA in your new surname (especially if some other documents are in the new surname). When filling the transcript form, there's a space for intended address, just fill the address part starting with your WES Reference Number. I.e actually writing WES Reference Number: ABCXWZ then continue next line with WES address. When you apply for your ECA, WES will send you the address, just write it out the way it's written. Unilag (and I believe all other schools) copies the address the way applicants write them, most schools are familiar with WES so they know the reference number should be included, you don't need to tell them. If you however fill the intended address on your transcript request form without stating your reference number, I don't think you'd be called to fill it... Na so school go just help you forward your transcript without stating the reference number! The WES form is not mandatory but you can attach it to your evidence of payment then upload same in place holder for evidence of payment. Attach both evidence of payment and the form to the required mail, here you can do the attachments separately. I hope this helps. |

Guyssssss I cannot go back to sleep again It's PPR!!!!! This journey that started last year has come to an end with victory!!! Started with IELTS February 2016 and then waited till I was done with msc in order to evaluate with WES. Done with WES September. Dear husband who's the PA had to write another IELTS in December cos we were trying to increase our CRS scores. Writing was 6.5 so didn't cut it. He wrote a third IELTS in February and again, writing was 6.5. We were getting depressed at this point so we requested for a remark and registered for a forth ielts. Remark came through in four weeks and writing was increased to 7.5!! ITA came in April next day after ielts remark so my timeline : AOR - April 30th Medicals passed - June 21 Ip1 - June 22 Ip2- July 19 PPR - July 24th Sorry for the long post guys but for those still stuck in this IELTS hurdle, pls don't give up and don't relent. Just keep pressing on and you shall smile at the end. 36 Likes 4 Shares |
