please help a fellow nairalander, i need a genuine reply to this as soon as possible please, after have registered for DE choosing Ui as 1st and 2nd choice elect./elect. and industrial production engr respectively with cgpa of 3.17 in computer engineering from federal poly ilaro, then i called sum1 i got his number on nairaland, to my surprise he told me computer engineering isn't related wit the two courses i chose in UI.Please how true is this, i need reply urgently please for me to knw wat nxt.

Change of course is now available; do so b4 it gets too late coz d course u studied and d ones u chose ain't related.
And plz, check and recheck jamb brochure very well

please wat course do u think i can apply for and please aw much is the change of course scratch card for DE. or better stil can i go in for computer science or please just the courses i can i apply wit my computer engineering

but it seems they do.
i mean if dey don't, they won't emphasise it's submission.

I hav an issue for instance, i registered and submitted to jamb office but now i want to change my course, i am nw wondering that if they v sent my details to d university how dem go correct am?

You can still change your course. you just need to buy the change of course scratch card. it will cost about 3.5k. You have to be fast about it oh. Goodluck. You no need go Jamb office. you can do it with your phone.

Thanks for your input bro. I spoke to someone in JAMB and she said that the documents that is sent to them is for their own assessment, as anyone can fill anything on the forms. Another source said the documents are faxed to the Unis we applied to. I'm a little concerned as I used 'Other Diploma' even though I have a BSc, cos I couldn't regularize.

For the change of course issue you mentioned, I think the course/uni will be changed and effected by JAMB, before any action with regards posting docs, assessment, and recommendation for admission commence.
