Pastor Tunde Bakare comments on the Leadership of the Yoruba

THE General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly and running mate of Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) during the April 16 , 2011 presidential election, Pastor Tunde Bakare, declared that it would be fool-hardy for “any bastard and the son of a concubine” to assume the leadership mantle of the Yoruba.

While preaching in his church in Lagos on the topic: “It is time to speak”, the fiery cleric said: “Look at... the madness going on in Yoruba land. slowpoke, nincompoop, people without family background causing problem because of money, ill gotten wealth. If a town or settlement is at peace, the bastard there is yet to grow up.

“If you are a bastard, there is nothing you can do to cover up with money. Where is your father’s compound? A bastard pretending to be a patriot. We are proud of our heritage because we have goodly heritage. There are those who call themselves nobles who are under the influence of Jezebel. Until they drink kainkain, they cannot function. They pretend to be larger than life,” he added.

He likened the person angling to take over the leadership of the Yoruba to the Biblical Abimelech who forcefully took over a kingdom that did not belong to him and was eventually destroyed.
The Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) Vice Presidential candidate declared further: “If you are trusting the son of a concubine to deliver you, you are in trouble”.

So far, as Bola Tinubu holds his Political and economical grip on Lagos State , the political and economical development of the indigenous people will never materialise and therefore our people will be backward and remain in his bondage .

The time is now ripe for the indigenes of Lagos State to REVOLT against Bola Tinubu . We want to break away from the BONDAGE and SLAVERY imposed on the people of Lagos State.

FREEDOM
No one can continue to suppress and oppress the indigenous people of Lagos State forever . The spirit of ALLAH will eventually break the jinx. Now, we are determined to free our people from the shackles of SLAVERY imposed on us by Bola Tinubu

The Igbos and dominating Yorubas in lagos.
they have taken over everything.
before you know it, they will buy everything.
did you say a starnger has bought bourdillion?
this is very bad.
we yorubas have to rise up.
We have to cry marginalization
and take our cry to the UN.
Maybe somebody will do something about our hapless situation in lagos under these stranger Igbos.

What concerns the Igbos with this thread? Did Bakare mention any Igbo name?

Coming from a pastor, this is really personal and rather harsh for some unfortunate children with runaway father's. However,Tinubu deserves all he gets,he is truly a classic disruptive and cunning example of an eligitimate child.

This dooms day preacher has come again. That road from where he is yapping this bullsh1t who built it, where was he when Asiwaju was laying the foundation for the emergence of a new Odua people. I think its about time they put him where he belongs. The fact that Buhari picked him as a running mate does not confer on him any importance other than his church members recognition. He does not even have the credentials to talk about the Jagaban in that manner. Anyway he will start by producing the papers on only that one parcel of land from where he thinks he can be spewing out bullsh1t.
Ambo please consider a road through that place and bring down that place fast before he uses his uncontrollable statements to cause tension in Lagos.
