Venus007 and blueto, can I change my second choice to a less competitive course, because I chose Education nd Pol sci as my second choice .
tho I'm eligible for my first choice Ecostat?
I think you should stick to ecostat if you have a reliable score, if not, then proceed with the course mutation. It is better to secure admission than not, then you can apply and sit for ecostat while you are in school if you strongly desire the course.

Yes, I think so. Get evrything u can. I once hrd GCE doesnt give certificates so get d statement of result ASAP.

If the GCE you referred to above is the same as Nov/Dec, O level exam type, then i must point out here for clarity that WAEC does issue Certificates to its candidates.

calebify1:
For ppl who wanna use GCE and wanna get ur original certificate after 5yrs ( I ain't sure ). simply go to the state branch where u wrote ur exam with about 2,500 naira + printout of ur result + means of identification.

It's not up to 5years. Someone close who wrote WAEC GCE late 2013 was issued his certificate in January, 2015.

And by way of addition to the requirement you stated above for Certicate collection, you will need an affidavit deposed to by you stating that you have collected the original certificate.

Lastly, I must say that you guys are doing a great job helping the prospective freshmen out.

Cheers!
