SUG UPDATE

Greetings to our GREATEST UNIBEN INTELLECTUALS. We believe THE SEMESTER has been smooth and stree free for us all.
In line with the continous struggle to always represent the interest of our AMIABLE UNIBEN INTELLECTUALS , this is to bring to our notice that every exam scheduled for THIS WEEK has been CANCELLED .
The faculty of PHYSICAL SCIENCE which had a proposed plan to commence their examination TODAY(13th june) embarked on the examination processes today but the SUG in the usual quest to always represent the STUDENTS' INTEREST PROACTIVELY went to the examination centre haven received series of complains from 100LEVEL STUDENTS offering MTH123 and MTH125 about controversies in exam date and whether or not MTH123 and MTH125 will hold today(13th june) ; upon getting to the scene, the students expressed unwillingness to commence exams today, 13th june as this date conflicts with the SCHOOL CALENDAR and to create effective time for adequate preparations so as to avoid mass failure.
In the middle of the discussion with the HOD mathematics department, arrived the PRINCIPAL OFFICERS UNIVERSITY OF BENIN, the Deputy Vice Chancellor academic, Deputy Vice Chancellor admin, UNIBEN PRO, and the Dean
of Students and a conclusion was reached that every exam scheduled to commence any time contrary to the 27th june 2016 slated on the school calendar are HENCE FORTH CANCELLED and to be RESCHEDULED with normal SCHOOL CALENDAR to ensure our learning period dont get tampered with.
Consequently, MTH123 and MTH125 and others slated for this week and before 27th june , 2016 are hereby CANCELLED till FURTHER NOTICE.
And also in Reaction to the RUMOUR about the commencement of the REGISTRATION of UNIBEN POSTUME ,this is to bring to the GENERAL PUBLIC that UNIBEN POSTUME REGISTRATION has not started and that the management of university of Benin still remains mute as regards POSTUME in UNIBEN for 2016/2017 session.
In conclusion, the SUG is using this medium to tell our friends and family to discard any RUMOUR as regard the ABOVE and also the SAFE IMPACT 2016 is wishing us GREAT SUCCEESS in the forthcoming second semester exams. Do not forget we LOVE YOU and we are always INTERCEDING ON YOUR BEHALF BACK TO BACK.
In all lets not forget that SAFE IMPACT 2016 is highly set to always represent your INTEREST PROACTIVELY because you SPEAK,
we LISTEN thereby enable us WIN TOGETHER.

And also to add, 2nd semester exams will commence fully next month and all 100 level(including gsts) and some 200 level courses will be done thru cbt...judging from the time table, every1 aint writin same time....some persons will have theirs in the mornin, afternoon nd evenin irrespective of the course....and i fink all d computers will be made used of.
so to me....if pume is to take place....it will be in august....u pple shud jux be preparin anyways....if u are gud....u will surely be admitted...
note; i am a student of this great uni and all the points slated are valid.
