At least nine people have been killed and several others injured during an attack on Mailari village of Konduga Local Government Authority (LGA) in Borno State, according to police sources. “They came on three motorcycles and a bicycle killing nine civilians and several others critical were injured,'' a local official said who spoke anonymously with SaharaReporters. We sent victims to Maiduguri University Teaching Hospital where they are now being treated,'' he added by phone. Borno Police Chief, Mr Aderemi Opadokun, confirmed Boko Haram terrorists attacked Mailari Village in Konduga LGA. A member of Civilian JTF, Bukar Dala Nasir, said the insurgents fled before troops arrived.
