A socio-political group, Akwa Ibom Integrity
Vanguard has asked the All Progressive Congress
(APC) led federal government to produce the
alleged stockpiles of dollars found in Akwa Ibom
Govt. House by DSS Official during it recent raid.
Recall that the media had reported the purported
dollars was allegedly found in the guest houses and
the presidential lodge currently in use by ex-
Governor Godswill Akpabio, Senate Minority leader.
In a statement signed by the group leader, Ediong
Moses, accused the APC of circulating images from
the United States of America mission in Iraq.
“What the APC propagandist did was to just go to
the internet, searched for the image of the missing
Iraq billions and started circulating it as the picture
of the stockpiles of dollars allegedly found in Uyo
and they made the picture go viral.
The group wondered why the DSS and the APC have
failed to produce the alleged stockpiles of dollars
found in the state government house.
“Those who were present at the time of the search
of the Guest House were the Director of DSS, Akwa
Ibom State, The Commissioner of Police, the Head
of the Military Formation, Head of the Joint task
Force (JTF) and governor Emmanuel Udom. One,
therefore, must wonder where on earth did APC and
their propagandist get the story about stockpiles of
dollars in Uyo Government House?
“The questions Nigerians must begin to ask now
after over two weeks of the raid on Akwa Ibom
Guest House where stockpiles of dollars was
allegedly found in the chalet where former governor
Akapbio stayed, where is the $500,000,000 (Five
Hundred Million Dollars) Akpabio’s money found as
alleged by the APC?
The group therefore appealed to Akapbio to head
directly to the DSS upon his return to the country to
claim his $500,000,000.
Recall that the PDP had said the ruling APC has
confirmed its culpability in a number of anti-
democratic actions of government agencies lately,
particularly the mindless invasion of Akwa-Ibom
State government house and interference in the
activities of that state’s election tribunal.

this buhari govt is fast trying to make the dss compete with the police in clulessness and when that happens, Nigerians would have to resort to self help for security.

No one is in doubt of the need to substantiate allegations like this. If the DSS actually said what is being attributed to them, of course, there is need for them to substantiate it before the appropriate authority, not, necessarily, to the public nor to any person or group of persons that has no bearing on the case.
This bring to fore the reason for my earlier post. The group should not indulge in unnecessary public media adventure. Rather, they should approach an authorised enforcer to compel the DSS to do the needful.

The parties he mentioned cannot dance to any tune just like that. They will only gyrate to tunes from the gods(i.e. the relevant authority).
