A filthy rich, money-miss-road billionaire decided to visit his village far away from the city, so as to impress and intimidate his extended family.  With his chauffeur at the wheel of the S-Class Mercedes, the rich man sat in the back watching the beautiful scenery on a country lane after some heavy rains, but soon the limosine was brought to a halt by a body of flood-water covering the road ahead.

In a nearby field, a  dirt-poor subsistence farmer was tending his crops, so the rich man rolled down the tinted power windows of his vehicle and inquired from the farmer whether the water was deep or shallow.  Without hesitation the farmer said the water was shallow, and the rich man therefore ordered his driver to proceed, only to discover too late that the water was deep enough to submerge the car entirely.

Soaking wet and enraged after swimming out of his car with his driver, the rich man challenged the farmer, demanding to know why the farmer had lied about the water depth.  The farmer paused, scratched his head and confessed to the rich man that his assumption about the shallowness of the water was based on his observation that the water only reached chest-high levels on the ducks he had earlier seen in the flood waters.
