Dear Gurus in the house,

Please what is the effect of powering a 1Hp LG split Air conditioner with a 2.5 KVA Thermocool generator?

Is it advisable?

The only appliances that may be on at the same time is a LCD TV and a decoder, both on a UPS.

thanks.

Though the information is incomplete such as power factor or reactive power, considering that 1hp is approximately 744watts and other appliances mentioned could not be more than 1000watts. I believe its safe using the 2.5kva... Assuming the pf is 0.8, multiply by Kva to have the Kw.
