Think of services you can offer
The first thing you should do when starting a business is to think of services you can render to people. These has to be services they need, people buy things because they need them so you also should offer them what they need. Business is not just doing business, it’s about you being able to create a solution to people’s problem, once you can do that, you just got started.



Learn from successful people
When starting a business, you also need to learn from successful people who have done that business before. This is where a lot of people make mistake, they want to do business with the strategy they have but their strategy is not tested. It’s not as if their strategy can’t work but most times it doesn’t, what happens to most people is they keep trying and they keep getting their fingers burnt because they keep using strategies that are not tested. The best option is to learn from successful people.



Practice what you’ve learn
You need to practice the things you’ve learnt, it’s not just about learning but applying what you’ve learnt. When you start practicing you get better and you get perfect with time but when you have knowledge and you don’t make use of it, it doesn’t help you. Learn from others and practice what you’ve learnt.



Never give-up
If you want to be successful at business you must never give-up, you can change your strategies or change the direction you are heading to but you must never give-up on your dream of doing business. Once you have given up, it won’t be easy when you want to start again. A lot of people give up too early while some give up almost at the point of success but they are all seen as people who are not successful, that why you should never give up.
