All Progressives Congress (APC) shared on twitter the amount of money being spent for 1 October, Independence day celebration in the past five years. The difference between the past four years and this year will shock you, I can’t even picture what the government use the money for, during this period. If this is really true, then Change has indeed come to our nation. “Independence Anniversary Expenditure for the past 5years: 2011 – N13 billion 2012 – N15 billion 2013 – N14 billion 2014 – N22 billion 2015 – N70 MILLION” The difference is clear. At least we have drastically reduced it this year. Celebrating when we are suffering. Anyway, the country is really blessed. Never have I seen anywhere on this planet where people suffer so much and still have time to make jokes about the same situations which they suffer under. I am guilty of this. We are truly blessed. |
