A welcome development as long as the money is used judiciously. We are no longer in the era where such monies end up in private pockets. I trust my President 100percent for sincerity and accountability. God bless our President God bless Nigeria 53 Likes 4 Shares |

A nice move from USAID mission and FG at least poverty should be reduced in Nigeria to 5% The gap between the rich and poor is very gigantic and enormous and humongous This will also aid the Buhari Government in transparency Long Live Buhari Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria Happy Teachers Day 23 Likes 1 Share |

Africa always collecting hand outs from the West yet we want maximum respect from them. Akukö Respect is earned not demanded. This amount is chicken change for the likes of Diezani why not ask her to fund it as part of her restitution. 15 Likes 1 Share |

We thank the government and the people of the United States for this support, our cherished relationship and their constant help, and for following up with what has now been known as Nigeria not having any better friend outside of Nigeria than the United States. May the bond that joins the people & government of the se two great countries be strengthened for the good of both countries and all humanity. 4 Likes |

Heavens will quiz the administration of Jonathan for all the ills done to Nigeria and Nigerians. When you cut ties with a super power as United States, where do you stand as a developing nation. Do not be blinded by China's economy because it has its financial economics rooted in the US. 11 Likes |

That's what we'll hear but we won't hear what they used the money for. Lemme just advice PMB on how to spend the money.$2.3billion = 460billion naira(using 200=$1 as conversion rate). And we have like 150million Nigerians so if we divide this money among EVERYBODY each person will have #3066.66. The FG can give #3000 to each person and keep the remaining #66.66, they'll still have #9,999,000,000 and that is almost #10billion. They can use that for whatever way they think poverty will be alleviated. |

We do not need financial assistance from US. All we are asking for is for them to repatriate all funds stolen from our economy by Nigerian politicians. Buhari/osinbajo, pls return their money and ask for our loot to be returned. Thank you. 3 Likes |

...And some cretins have been shouting at the top of their voices and asking what the benefits of all those foreign trips are. Anyway, for people who genuinely think that people like Diezani are saints and heroes, the daftness of these people is no longer in doubt. All I can say regarding this topic is, thank God we now have a responsible government. I know this is a covert loan from the US which will definitely be repayable. But I can sleep peacefully at night knowing fully well that this money will not end up in the pockets of some imbeciiles who some other imbeciiles would then regard as 'heroes.' 1 Like |
