2K Games recently revealed the official teaser trailer of
upcoming video game compilation Mafia: Trilogy featuring
all protagonists from three games. A full reveal

Epic Games announced it will release the free-to-play battle royale game, Fortnite, for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 at launch.
The game will run on Unreal Engine 4, however, there are plans to migrate the game to Unreal Engine 5 when it launches in mid-2021.

Epic Games has announced the next generation Unreal
Engine, called Unreal Engine 5. With the announcement
came a real-time demo showcasing next generation
capabilities running on the PlayStation 5. Unreal Engine 5
has also been confirmed for Xbox Series X, Windows PC and
mobile platforms.

Technical Director of Graphics Brian Karis and Special
Projects Art Director Jerome Platteaux in the video provide
an in-depth look at the demo, which they call Lumen in the
Land of Nanite.

"Two new core technologies that will debut in [Unreal Engine 5], said Epic Games. Nanite virtualized micropolygon
geometry, which frees artists to create as much geometric
detail as the eye can see, and Lumen, a fully dynamic global
illumination solution that immediately reacts to scene and
light changes.

"Also present in the demo are next-gen features already
available in Unreal Engine 4.25, such as Niagara VFX
improvements, Chaos physics and destruction, animation
system enhancements, and audio advancements. Unreal
Engine 4.25 also includes support for next-gen consoles."

gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, which will launch on May 26 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam and Google Stadia.

The Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion adds a new
cinematic story, three characters and three new skins for $
40. The three new characters are Fujin, Sheeva, and
RoboCop.

A $60 Mortal Kombat: Aftermath Kollection has also been
announced. It includes the base game, Kombat Pack DLC
and the Aftermath expansion.

Well, console power has limitation in the number of triangles and textures it can render. They're just doing the best they can. They're limited by technology.

Considering there are hundreds of millions of triangles in that demo though... there is hope for consoles next gen
