Killing Floor 2 to have Ps4 Pro support and Open Beta starts today

“First on the point of resolution for players that have a 4K TV
and a PS4 Pro,” says art director David Hensley. “Killing Floor 2 runs at a higher 1800p resolution that is then upscaled to 4K 2160p resolution, unlocking the gaming potential of your 4K screen. The extra resolution increases overall environment, weapon, and character detail beyond what is perceivable on a 1080p display.”

The additional memory that will be available when playing it
on PS4 Pro will allow for what they call “Ultra Textures,”
which adds increased details to everything seen in the game. More dynamic shadows will also be prevalent, as well as an improved frame rate.

Finally, an open beta for the game was announced that runs
from today at 10:00 AM through November 6th. The
open beta includes the following:

2 Multiplayer Modes — Survival and Versus Survival

3 Maps — Burning Paris, Biotics Lab, Evac Point

1 Offline Training Mission

9 Perk Classes

14 Characters

Overwatch Free Weekend Announced For All Platforms.Developer Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the game will be getting a free weekend next week, which will run from November 18th through November 21st. PC gamers will be able to hop right in, though a PlayStation Plus subscription will be required for PlayStation 4 players and an Xbox Live Gold subscription will be required for Xbox One players.

This will also be the complete version of the game, with
players having access to all of the game’s 22 heroes and 13
maps. To make matters even better, if you decide to
purchase the game after taking part in the free weekend
then you will be able to carry over all of your progress.
