for real lovaboi. if you really want to go into 3d, then read instructions.

a flash pro would prefer using macromedia flash to swish. so dont look for more flexible alternatives. seems like you heard pple are into 3d and u want to jump on the boat. it aint right. genuine interest is the key.

i feel you. about 4 years ago, i pictured myself using 3d studio max to create animations, n i mean real feature-lenght animations. with the voice-over and all. barely a year after, i lost every minute trace of interest left. now, i'm into web applications.

not trying to discourage you but you stil have to do a rethink and knw if that's where you really belong.
