Music career

According to his parents, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe aka Kiss Daniel showed an interest in music when he was very very young and was encouraged by his father who advised him to pursue his music career. It was in 2013 when he met G-Worldwide Entertainment CEO, Emperor Geezy after his university education that he actually kick start his music career professionally. Many persons have thought woju was his first single. Nope, his first official music was "Shoye" which that was produced by Beatburx on May 1, 2014, along with a music video that was directed by MEX. Later on, Kiss Daniel went on to release his second single that actually shot him to fame "Woju", which was produced by DJ Coublon on September 1, 2014. The video was actually directed by Adasa Cookey, and it was shot in Lagos. Actually the song would spend a much eleven weeks on the MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten, including six weeks at the number one spot. This was all he needed and the rest became story.

Starting with his age, there have been lots fuss around his age. his Wikipedia page first revealed his year of birth to be 1997, however when fans took twitter to argue over it, the date was edited and changed to 1991.

In an interview on “Rubbin Minds” the host Ebuka Obi Uchendu asked the singer for clarification about his age the singer however in addressing the issue, mentioned that his age/date of birth was business, giving a promise to do a press release in regards to it. Kizz Daniel claimed he was paid N50 ,000 per month at the beginning of their deal, G-world Wide however countered his statement, claiming to have paid over N120 million to Kizz Daniel since signing him.

While under G-world wide, Kizz was under a restriction by contracts signed with record label from doing collaborations with other artists. This explained why for more than two years, most of his singles had no features save Sugarboy who was also a member of G-world wide. The only song Kizz Daniel featured artistes from outside his label was Woju.

Eventually, both parties parted ways after the case was brought to the Lagos state Federal High Court with Kizz Daniel emerging as d winner.

In an official statement released, his Solicitors L & A-Legal Consultants said the Lagos Federal High Court has clearly denied the entertainment company’s application to restrain Daniel from performing, recording or using the stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’ – a name the singer has reportedly used way before his commitment to the label.

According to the Solicitors, Kiss Daniel formally canceled the deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment via a letter on October 30, 2017 – which was in accordance with the provisions of the Recording Contract between the parties.

After the battle Kizz had to move forward and he had lots of artists at his back including Wizkid, Davido and others. Daniel launched his very own Label, Flyboy INC (FBI) in November 2017 releasing no do as his first official song under his new label, also changing brand name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel.

The singer who experienced financial difficulties at the start of his career is now a millionaire and proud owner of two houses in Lagos also landing a couple of endorsements.
