Major growing, he's now three months and two weeks... He weighs 15kg

yeah, some dogs are like that, it works in this sequence most especially gsds;really cute(0-8weeks)»cute (4months)»less cute(5months)»ugly(7months)»less cute(9months)» cute(1-2yrs up).
if Op knows what's best he should feed the dog wella with high proteinous Food. Gsds tends to be slimmer at Juvenal stage but as soon as they approach adulthood they start bulking up and meaty food needs to be in abundant or otherwise they look more like mongrels.

Thanks for th enlightenment, was also surprised at how he grows cos I've not changed or withdraw anything from his food, instead I increased the ration.

Major, growing impressively...

I've been away from home for a while now, but got back home on Thursday evening and was happy with the way I saw Major, he's very active feeds well and barks whenever anyone moves close to the gate, am however not impressed with his size. Will try all my best for the mean time that I'll be arnd and ensure he gains weight. Lest I forget, he's now 6 months.

Its evident you weren't home. Try adding some multivitamins to your plan for building him up. Don't know what foods exactly will make him add muscle and more bulk but maybe some others will be able to suggest. I suspect he needs some more exercise too it'll help him muscle out a bit too!

anytn u do in other to make him add weight remember not to overfeed him...i will advice u get him a dog food@specially formulated for gsd

German shepard dogs aint meant to grow fat, cause they are prone to hip dysplasia.
Careful of the weight too.
