If u know d story of ehailing in Abuja, Benin, Owerri, Ibadan, PH etc u will not say the business will continue to thrive. If this continues, there will be fewer cars on d road, fewer trips on d app and lesser commission. Ultimately everything will crash due to poor service delivery.

Also just know the gas will go up systematically. Cooking gas was 4k for 12.5kg around 2021, Today it's 15k. So if u are banking on CNG remaining low u aren't being realistic. The more people that use it, d more demand, d high the price will go.
It will still be cheaper than fuel overall but that advantage will not be wide again.

Bro ehailing will never die in Lagos maybe other cities but u see Lagos forget it. If d supply of drivers is reduced as u said the prices will increase hence dragging same drivers that left back in and d cycle continues. Transportation is life and a city like Lagos will FOREVER have ehailing.

As regards cng, d cost of producing it is way cheaper bro. It's easier to extract than other derivatives so it can't be like fuel or diesel . This very gas used to be wasted in Nigeria by flaring cause dey didn't know what to do with it. LPg is expensive to produce like fuel

The truth is CNG is an added advantage not the standard. The Standard is still 4 plug petrol vehicles of not more than 2.4litre engines.
You bought a car and still invested 500k to 1m for CNG installation on the car. Therefore, u have to enjoy the benefit of that investment installation not struggling to make ends meet ontop ur upgrade/extra expenses again.

Secondly, not all vehicles can carry the CNG. So if d ehailing companies want to make CNG the standard let them say so, so that we all know in other to do this business we have to install CNG so d car can pass inspection.
It will be unfair to fix prices based on CNG or refuse to increase the prices because it's fuel that is going up and not gas.

Yes some actually dekit. I'm a technician at CGC liquified station, we actually get a handful of bus drivers who wants to dekit

1. Because the bus isn't theirs and the owner might want their bus back
2. The need money to do one or two
3. They actually do not need it as their engine is between 1.0-1.4L (Korope)
4. Availability of CNG refill station on their preferred routes.

So yes we dekit them and reinstall. Its a win win for all parties.

Alaye u assume alot. This is fine for me for now with the present realities. Besides I used 20k fuel to achieve that and I still have some fuel. Before this increase I use 20k to make about 65k-70k but now not using AC I still acheive 60k

Just today I did a survey at agindingbi ikeja Mobil. I usually buy fuel there every day for the last 3 months. So today I stood and asked randomly people on d cng queue. Aal said it was d best decision only one said the issues he had was plug and coil and that as long as ur engine is topnotch u r good but if ur engine is bad it will further damage it.

You could see the satisfaction on ALL their faces d one guy that complained about d plugs and coil said in light of current fuel ish iz the best decision cause his an Uber guy.

Abeg measure ur risk and take informed decision. I will do it asap. It can be dekitted at anytime and I'm telling u. Once I install It then I can be a high earners like pearl the lion.

Spoke to an engineer from Ibile Oil and he said this exactly. Blamed centers in Ogun State esp that dey rushed to do it at that initial stage without full approval over safety issues. But that now it has been perfected. I will do surveys at other stations if dey r dis advantages dey won't lie. U will see this regret in their faces and if dey truly regret y Dem never dekit . Is their hand tied abi Dem swear oath as pearl talk say some wey hand don burn no fit disclosure does that even make sense. How will I spend my money and I'm not satisfied and yet I won't raise alarm to the next man. Around 6years ago fuel was 200naira fuel is now 1400naira tell are we not oil producing country again, they removed subsidy the money they made by removing subsidy where did it go to is it coastal road, is electricity, now government are investing in solar is it cheap?
