In any society there are people who in a way; either positively or negatively in their lifetime had made some impart on the lives of others. We can only be remembered by what we have done while here on earth. To those who knew Alams before his demise, how can you describe him_A Hero or a criminal? Here was a man who so much touched and better the lives of the people of Bayelsa State. As the first Executive Governor of the state, he laid the foundation of modern Bayelsa State, he sent a lot of students on scholarship to study abroad, many youths were empowered through skill acquisition programs, he put into rest the issue of youth restiveness not only in the state but in the entire Niger Delta region. Under him workers were paid before the month came to and end. Even during the Odi crisis he ensured that the citizens were protected and Justice been done to the culprits. His achievements in life outnumbered his weakness which people seek to criminalize. Of cause, he laundered money, that does' nt make him the worst criminal, he acquired properties doesn't make him the chief of sinners while hundreds of his political fellows are moving freely as saints. Death is an inevitable end of man. Let's ponder over this before making our conclusions on the Governor General of the Ijaw nation. Just want to know your assessment of him without any bias.

He is an ex-convict, a fugitive from the law and a thief.
