The three senators from Kwara state, including the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, has endorsed the nomination of the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed as ministers. The two other senators are Rafiu Ibrahim,  Kwara South and Mohammed Shaaba Lafiagi of Kwara North.

This was revealed in a tweet from the official handle of the Nigerian Senate, @NGRSENATE
“#MinisterialScreening Alhaji #LaiMuhammed today received endorsement of all Senators from Kwara @bukolasaraki @rafiuibrahim #ShabaLafiagi,” reads the post.

Lai Mohammed was born into the family of Alh Mohammed Adekeye in 1952.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in French from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1975 and Law degrees from the University of Lagos and the Nigerian Law School in 1986
He co-founded the legal firm of Edu & Mohammed as a Senior Partner in 1989.

He spent a glorious 50 mins explaining how he drained his state's resources, because he took a trip to Akwa ibom, and saw the state of the art state House. He gave a blank cheque to contractors to replicate the level of architecture he saw in Akwa ibom, without taking into cognizance the fact that Akwa ibom is an oil rich state with 13% oil derivative. He also spoke brilliantly on how, he was part of the underground anti- ABACHA movement with his radio station, that only he is aware of. Too bad that Shehu Sani, dented this, with how FAYEMI escaped out of the country through the borders, while he, Shehu Sani was holding the fort in Kirikiri prison. What a brave and financially smart man, FAYEMI is.
PS: The senators are not concerned with the older senators, who they allow to take the ceremonial take a bow and go. They are more concerned with the old ones who claim they are smarter than they look.
