She came into existence like a child and expected to flourish, which is the Joy of every good Mother. A woman distinguished above her contemporaries. Little wonder she was named by a woman. No one would see her and not look again. She is a woman of immense beauty, simplicity and greatness. She is known for Her sacred religious practices, culture, values, and great children. She is a city set on the hill of Africa which can never be hidden. The more you read through, the more obvious she becomes. Her beauty resides in Her economy. Natural resources, Her Endowment. Agriculture, Her Pride. Sports, Her strength. She has more than 152million blessed children. she possess 923,768sq.km of arable land. She shares her boarders with Benin in the west, chad and Cameroon in the east, Niger in the nort and Her coast lies on the gulf of guinea in the south. She is flagged with two flamboyant colors. Composed of 36 states, 774 L.G.A and 6 Geopolitical zones. She is NIGERIA.
What happened to Her lately? She is fast becoming a torn entity. Where did it begin? She is getting ruined by the power of incumbency. Like a dog, she now lick Her wounds and go back to Her vomit. Corruption have become her daily perfume. Animosity and violence, her option. Her mind impregnated with thoughts of embezzlement. She is no longer trusted among her contemporaries. Whose fault is it? A woman disowned by Her children. Her pride fast becoming Her shame. Her name dragged to the mud. Wastage and exploitation of Her finance and natural resources by greed. Antipathy, Her hurricane. Unemployment eating deep into her bones. Her hair shaved with the blades of nepotism. Obese with the meal of tribalism. Her skin bleached by the colors of redundancy. Her limbs amputated by the forceps of bribery and corruption. Immorality, Her make over. Dressed with the loins of despondency.
Who said She can't be restored?
Who said She can't be developed?
Who said She can't be corrupt free?
It's time for Her to return. Let her repent of every malicious act. Let Her be drenched in the waters of nobility. Let her be revived with the consciousness of love and kindness. Let unity be Her watchword. Let Her legacy be redeemed. Let her Revolution shock the world. Let Her become a peaceful entity. Let Her believe in Her future. Let love lead. Born to be a Nigerian is a privilege. Go hug that man or woman you have always hated. Change begins from there. Change start with us.
