THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said, yesterday, that it had not cleared any politician, state governors inclusive, for the 2007 elections, and warned that anyone already jubilating that he had a clean bill of health already was doing so at his own risk. The election date is around the corner and none of these candidates has been cleared to officially start the preparation for the election. Does this make any sense? Because I smell fish. |

Yes in a way, some other No, becuase EFCC is not INEC or SSS, they have no such power, the only way they can clear them is not to prosecute them if some of them are corrupt, Prosecution means disqualification ok. |
