Both artist are really good however Patoranking has been able to make his raggae dancehall brand of music more commercially viable with mass appeal. He has also collaborated with mainstream hiphop artistes like Tiwa Savage and lately Wande coal to create widely acceptable party tunes like "Glrie o" and "My woman".

General Pype on his own part has not been making any great tunes lately though he has enjoyed a great deal of success with more traditional raggae dancehall vibes like "Born champion" and "give it to me". He is also widely accepted but maybe not as much as Pato Ranking. Perhaps a few collaboration would have booted his popularity. We don't hear much from his this days but no doubt General Pype still has my respect.

So to the Raggae dancehall lovers. General Pype or Pato Ranking, Who do you prefer?
