Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State has sworn-in Alhaji Usman Mamman Durkwa as the new deputy governor. The swearing-in the deputy governor was done at the Government House Multi-Purpose Hall, Maiduguri.

What will the governor be doing with the federal allocation,
the security vote and the local government allocation,
