Useful Items Needed When Going To Study Abroad by Esthersblog(f): 12:37pm On Oct 19, 2015
There are some items that might skip your mind or you might think they are not necessary to carry along with you when going to study abroad. When going to another country for the first time, there are some little things you wouldn’t have taken note of, or done some research about, thinking whatever you want might be accessible to you when you settle down. Some of the things on the list can also be applicable if you are travelling to another state within Nigeria to study as well.

1.Make sure you have at least three photocopies of all your documents, including your passport biodata page, just in case you have to some paper work same day you arrive or the next day to save time.

2.At least one of each of these; A4 sized Envelopes, small envelopes, folders, eraser, pencil, pen, scissors, scotch, calculator.

3.Make sure you have a map downloaded on your phone for directions and learn how to use a hard copy map, in case you do not have access to internet.

4.Universal adaptors with double and triple adapter plugs would be needed when you are not sure of the plug used in the country.

5.You should have some cash with you, because there are some local stores that do not accept foreign cards.

6.For the ladies; hair dryer, flat iron, shower cap, wig and weavon is also necessary.

7.Some snacks and food can come in handy like nuts, noodles (to start with) and ingredients like dry pepper. (Optional)

8.If you are used to taking some particular drugs for cold or pains, then you have to take some with you. It can be very difficult sometimes to find what you are looking for in foreign pharmacies.

9.Do not forget to add a mug and cutleries to your luggage.

10.Toiletries will be needed immediately you arrive at your destination.

Kindly drop your suggestions in the comment section.
