Portsmouth are facing the possibility of getting a win or a draw against Arsenal on Saturday, as the Gunners will be more preoccupied with getting set for their UCL clash against Manchester United, and so, might be resting a few key players. It's a good opportunity for them to capitalize on.  .  .will they be good enough?
  Their last Prem game against Newcastle United ended in a 0-0 draw.  .  .not very impressive play either. Perhaps they will do better at home this time.

  Arsene Wenger will try to inject a few fresh legs into his side for Saturday's Barclays Premier League trip to Portsmouth, where the Gunners will aim to close the gap on third-placed Chelsea.  Not likely that the Gunners will finish above 4th place this season, but no harm in gunning for more points.
  Arshavin is expected to start while Croatia striker Eduardo, who came on as a substitute last night, could also be in the XI. Like Sir Alex plans to do, Wenger is likely to rest his key players in anticipation of the return UCL leg against Manchester United.

  This game is not a do or die affair for the Gunners, so they can afford to take it lightly in order to be better prepared for the UCL game.
