Top Nigerian entertainers dominated the night at the 2015 edition of Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards, GIAMA, held on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
In its 4th edition, the awards ceremony held at Houston, Texas and was hosted by popular comic act, AY Makun.
The event had in attendance popular faces such as Rita Dominic, Jim Iyke, Lancelot Imasuen, Eniola Badmus, Pascal Atuma, Korede Bello, Alexx Ekubo, Moses Inwang, Yaw, Seyi Brown, Jedi, Belinda Effah, Anita Chris, James Costello, Okey Ezugwu, Bianka Johnson, Dr. Kulah, Tangi Miller, Moses Efret, Chuks Ajoku, and several others.
Nollywood actress, Nse Ike-Etim scooped the award of the ‘Best Actress’ for her role in ‘Stalker’ while popular actor, Jim Iyke won the ‘Best Actor’ award for his role as lead actor in the same film.
Volumptous actress, Eniola Badmus won the ‘Best Comedic Act’ while music star, Korede Bello won the gong for the ‘Song of the Year’.
Foremost filmmaker, Jeta Amata won the ‘Best Director’ with ‘Black November’ while Yvonne Jegede and Uche Jombo picked the awards for the ‘Best On-Screen Duo’.
Ace actress, Clarion Chukwurah was also awarded the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Awards.
